As of July 1, 2019, PayPal no longer supports the following currencies for sending or receiving money: Argentine peso (ARS), Czech koruna (CZK), Hungarian forint (HUF), Israeli shekel (ILS), Malaysian ringgit (MYR), Mexican peso (MXN), Philippine peso (PHP), Polish zloty (PLN), New Taiwan dollar (TWD), and Thai baht (THB).
As of July 2017, PayPal no longer supports payment services in the following countries: Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Cameroon, Central African Republic, CĂ´te d'Ivoire, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Iran, Iraq, Lebanon, Liberia, Libya, Myanmar, Namibia, Nicaragua, North Korea, Pakistan, Panama, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan, Syria, Uganda, Yemen, and Zimbabwe.
